'Underfoot' exhibition

Presenting Sara's entry for the Embroiderer's Guild exhibition 'Underfoot'.
"This piece is to draw attention to the damage the Wild Boar in the Forest of Dean, where I live, are doing to open green spaces. The layers of fabric reflect the layers of earth upturned as the Boar forage for food. It is worked on a vintage tray cloth with floral motifs added to the surface to suggest re-growth and optimism for earth's renewal encouraging bio diversity." ~ Sara
